Never put an age limit on your dreams.

MSS CARES

When life changes because of health issues or aging, routines that offered structure may be difficult to continue. That's why we created CARES: To offer more, not less as the years advance.

Continuing Achievement for Retirees and Seniors: CARES

The CARES program was created because we see possibility in everyone's future, no matter how young or old. We use a whole-person approach to planning and providing services, based on interest and personal-care needs. Daily and weekly plans offer appealing levels of flexibility and routine to help people feel needed, valued and productive, with just the right amount of R&R. We also provide focused support for people with memory loss and issues associated with Alzheimer's Disease.

MSS offers all-day and part-time plans, tailored to meet the needs of each person. CARES includes creative opportunities to stay active, social and connected for as long as possible.

MSS wants people to feel valued, respected and cared for at every age. To learn more, contact Alison Mertens at (651) 793-4145, or amertens@mwsservices.org.

Success Story: Kim

CARES programming includes creative opportunities to stay active, social and connected for as long as possible. Part-time employment, Creative Arts activities, volunteer opportunities and community based activities help those with developmental disabilities and memory loss stay vital and give their families peace of mind.

CARES is an excellent program with a great continuum of services that help my client. Her MSS case manager is great at assessing
client needs. She's wonderful with clients, since she has a warm, caring demeanor, is very approachable, and she treats everyone with respect.
